Mother’s Day Brunch

Happy Mother’s Day to all you mamas. I hope you enjoyed your day and you were feeling all the love. Hubby, Soleil and I celebrated the lovely day together and all thanks to Ryan for making the day quite special. How sweet of hubs to have planned such a tasty and decadent meal. He made me chicken and waffles from scratch *Mind blown* yeah he sure knows the way to my heart. Give me all things fried and covered in syrup please!! He also made a desert tray with fresh strawberries that he cut into roses. That part got me so good. I don’t know why, but something about it was so sentimental it pulled directly on the heart strings. It’s the little things like strawberry cut roses that really made the day so special.

Being Soleil’s mother is the greatest gift! She amazes me everyday with her sweet sass and I catch myself just staring at her and saying how are you even real? I get to provide loving care & guidance for this sweet girl to flourish and become who she wants to be. What a blessing and thank you god!
