Maternity Photoshoot

This post is long over due as baby girl is now here. I realized I haven’t shared my maternity photoshoot with you guys so here we go.

The first time you’re pregnant is such a special time you want to remember for the rest of your life. Getting maternity photos is a perfect way to remember that first time life was growing inside of you.

In my Hypnobirthing class the instructor suggested to pick a birth color that would bring you peace and fill you with good vibes. I went with purple as my birth color. I used it in the maternity shoot as well as the robe and gown I wore during her birth. Next time around I would like to incorporate the color more into the birth room with flowers or flame-less candles to create a serene space.

I wanted my maternity photos to be dreamy with light flowing fabric around me. I couldn’t find a dress anywhere that fit the idea I had in mind. So I had this tulle dress made by a seamstress. It turned out perfect! I will love and cherish these photos of the magical time I was carrying my sweet Soleil in my tummy.
