Mermaid Approved Collagen Smoothie Bowl Recipe

April 29, 2018

Dive into your day with some Ariel lil’ mermaid vibes with this aqua blue smoothie bowl. This smoothie bowl isn’t only too pretty to eat it’s also jam packed with nutrients that are amazing for your body. Take your regular smoothie bowls up a notch with some blue green algae and Marine Collagen.

Blue-green algae is known to be one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. it contains over 65 vitamins, minerals and enzymes and all of the eight essential amino acids. This pretty much means it’s sooo crazy good for you. Now lets throw in some collagen made from the scales of fresh non GMO snapper and we are fully channeling all the Ariel vibes. If you don’t know about all the health and beauty benefits of collagen check out these posts here and here. This Marine Collagen from Vital Proteins is absolutely flavorless and odorless so don’t worry about any funky fish tastes. It’s a great option for people who eat fish and avoid red meat.

To make this smoothie bowl you are going to need the following:

INGREDIENTS

1 banana

1 scoop of Vital Proteins Marine Collagen

2 big scoops of Greek yogurt

A handful of ice cubes

1 cup-ish of almond milk

1-3 scoops of Blue Green Algae

DIRECTIONS

Blitz all the ingredients in a blender and top with your favs. I love mangoes, kiwis, bananas, Dragon Fruit, berries and granola.

Enjoy!

I ended up switching it up to this much larger & softer rug at a fraction of the price I paid for the first rug. I love it much better now. ✨

Here’s the link to shop the new rug in my living room.

Formal living room update: it’s coming together Formal living room update: it’s coming together nicely. Just need to add in some curtains and some art.

I’m thinking maybe to do an ornate floor mirror instead of art. What do you guys think? A gold mirror or art for a French modern vibe? ✨formallivingroom #frenchmodern

We just had the final walk through at our new hous We just had the final walk through at our new house and now we’re 2 days away from closing escrow on our first home together. To say the least the journey to buying our home has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs since we started looking back in November. I am soooo happy it’s finally over. Ahhh! Need a vaycay after that.

I’ve always dreamt of ending up in San Diego ever since I moved to LA almost 7 years ago now, but something about Temecula spoke deeply to me. I thought it wasn’t for me but as soon as we got there, it was like there was something in the air. My heart opened and my body immediately began to relax. It felt like home.

Only 20 mins from San Diego so we can still do all the fun family activities I love there, but then we also get the beauty and serenity of living in Temecula wine country.

So beyond excited for this new chapter with my loves and to have a beautiful home to call our own.

Big THANK YOU to our agent @sandraluesse for getting it done for us!! It was a ride girl lol!! Love youuuu 💕❣️💕

Our favorite day of the year has come and gone. I Our favorite day of the year has come and gone. I miss it already.

Soleil was so excited for Christmas. I wasn’t sure if she’d get it or be into it but she totally did. She’s been asking to wear her Christmas pjs all week long and has been saying Santa on repeat.

It was just pure magic enjoying the day with her and making “eat” as she calls it in her new kitchen from Santa.
