Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette

I went to Sephora to get my favorite Caudalie oil makeup remover that I just ran out of, when this stunner of an eye-shadow palette caught my eye. Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette has 14 beautiful high- pigmented shades in neutral to berry tones. I was instantly drawn to this palette because of the colors. I like that it has great nude tones that I can use everyday and also these red tones that would be great for a Valentine’s day look. The packaging is super cute as well with the pink crushed velvet case, definitely adds to the whole renaissance theme. I’ll be doing a makeup video with this palette soon, so look out for that.

Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud Cologne Intense

The next on my list of February favorite beauty products is this Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud Cologne Intense. Can we talk about how romantic this scent is? It’s like smelling a bunch of roses but then it’s grounded with wood, so it’s not to airy and light. It’s described as “a dark, rich scent of damask rose wrapped with smoky oud wood and spiked with clove”. It pretty much just smells like romance in a bottle. It’s definitely a heavier scent I wouldn’t recommend it for a daytime wear but more for a date night sexy scent. This could be perfect option for a Valentine’s day gift for that special someone.

MAC “Ruby Woo” and Colour Pop’s “LAX”

The two lippies that I can never go wrong with are of course the ever so iconic MAC “Ruby Woo” and Colour Pop’s “LAX”. I remember the first time I tried “Ruby Woo” when I was in college. I had a serious moment because for the first time in my life I could wear red lipstick. Having bigger lips I could never find the right shade that complemented my lips and skin tone, but finally that day had come. The thing about this shade is that it goes so well with every skin tone and that’s why it’s so popular. I got the limited edition release and the packaging is cute with the black base and then the lid is red. “LAX” is a deep vampy red that has more of an edge to it. This is also another great option for every skin tone. It dries matte so you’ll want to prep your lips before applying this one.
