Coconut Collagen Matcha Latte

In the five years I’ve lived in Los Angeles I’ve moved 8 times and this gypsy soul is tired. I’m finally at a place in my life where I can lay down some roots and start a family soon. I feel like such a grown up these days. It’s like all my old likes have changed, and I barely know who I am anymore. I like it though. It’s exciting and scary because I’ve been going through so much change lately the ground was beginning to feel a little unstable. I feel like I crossed that threshold of early- adulthood to adulthood. Shedding my old ways was a little unsettling, when the things I used to like, I didn’t like anymore and people I used to hang out with, I didn’t really care to see anymore. I just had to trust the process and I knew my soul was giving me a much needed push to bring in the life I had always dreamed of.

Hubs and I have been enjoying the ease of life living by the beach now. Being so close to the water sure makes life take on a much slower pace. Waking up to the sounds of seals in the morning and the fresh ocean air blowing through my balcony has made getting out of bed a little troublesome. I wonder what took me so long to move out to the beach. I’ve always been so in love with the water. I feel lucky to say I’ve found that place on this big beautiful earth where I can really stay for years to come.

Weekend mornings lazing round in bed with a good book has been food for my soul. At this stage in my life I’m embarking on an invitation to deepen my purpose. I’ve been reading a lot of spiritual books that have expanded my mind and heart to the truth of life. I’ll share more on that later, but for now I want to share this yummy matcha collagen latte that I’ve been enjoying while cozied up in bed.

This Vital proteins Matcha Collagen latte is packed with antioxidants and has 137x the number of antioxidants than regular green tea. It also helps encourage healthy metabolism and promotes healthy weight. Vital Proteins Match Collagen contains 60 mg of caffeine per serving and contains L- Theanine an amino acid that produces a calm effect so you don’t get those caffeine jitters. This latte is sweetened with honey and for some more health benefits and flavor I added a hint of coconut oil.

Enjoy!
